Our private lessons are taught by experienced instructors who offer a supportive learning environment for kids of every age and skill level so your swimmer will have fun whether they're just getting comfortable in the water or refining techniques. Each lesson is 20 minutes and $25-$40 per session (with a discount for members) depending on instructor.


Please consider your signups carefully, cancellations are handled manually and cannot be done within 48 hrs of the lesson. Within 48hrs you must contact the instructor directly to arrange a makeup. Missed lessons will not be refunded. (Members can see classes under your My Account at dewing.com.)

Meet Our Instructors 

Rego, Gabby_edited.png

Gaby Rego

Gaby Rego began swimming at the age of seven and has competed for Dewing Park and Orinda Aquatics. She just finished her junior year swimming for Westmont College in Santa Barbara. Gaby is First Aid/CPR certified and is comfortable teaching all skill levels and ages.


Cameran Mueller

Cameran is a DPST assistant coach. She grew up swimming for Vista Diablo and
also swam for Ygnacio Valley High School. The past few years she has taught swim lessons at the American Swim Academy in Walnut Creek. Swimming is Cameran's passion and she is looking forward to sharing that passion in the pool.

Alex Clark

Alex Clark will be a sophomore at the University of Nevada Reno this fall. She has been a part of Dewing Park for 8 years, including competing, as a lane coach and coaching our Sea Pony program. She also nannies during the off season. She is excited to be back teaching swim.

Kristina Mooney

Kristina swam for Dewing Park from age 5 to 14, during which time she broke several records. She just graduated from Las Lomas High School, where she swam four years varsity - as captain her junior year - and competed at NCS. She also swims for Walnut Creek Aquabears. She coached at Dewing in 2019 and 2021 and is excited to be back and share her love of swimming.
